What is a certified ergonomist?

A certified ergonomist holds the Canadian Ergonomics Practitioner Certification (CEPC), issued by the Certification Committee of the Canadian Council of Ergonomics Practitioners (CCCPE). This certification guarantees recognized skills in the entire field of ergonomics.
At Ergokinox, our ergonomists are EA (associate ergonomist) or CCPE certified, ensuring a service recognized by the highest quality standards in the consulting industry.

Nicolas Paradis

Ergonome certifié CCPE

Nicolas a démarré Ergokinox en 2006. Il détient un baccalauréat en kinésiologie de l’Université Laval et un DESS en ergonomie de l’École Polytechnique de Montréal. En plus de ses activités de consultant, Nicolas a été chargé de cours pour l’Université de Montréal et chargé de session clinique à l’Université Laval.
 

Valérie Beauchesne

Coordonnatrice administrative

Cumulant plus de 20 années d’expérience en médecine industrielle et en événementiel, Valérie est la coordonnatrice administrative de l’équipe d’Ergokinox depuis 2019. Toujours souriante et disponible, elle répond aux clients avec professionnalisme, coordonne les opérations et gère les horaires de l’équipe d’ergonomes avec efficacité. 

Jean-François Sylvain

Ergonome certifié CCPE

Jean-François s’est joint à Ergokinox en 2015. Il détient un baccalauréat en kinésiologie et un DESS en ergonomie de l’Université Laval. Jean-François détient le titre d’ergonome certifié CCPE du CCCPE et est ceinture jaune Lean Six Sigma. Entre autres, il possède une forte expérience dans les mandats liés au transport.

Valérie Tremblay

Ergonome EA

Valérie s’est jointe à l’équipe Ergokinox en 2019. Elle détient un baccalauréat en études sportives de l’Université Bishop’s, une maîtrise en ergonomie de l’UQAM et un certificat en santé et sécurité du travail de l’UQAT. Valérie détient le titre d’ergonome associée EA du CCCPE et elle est actuellement en processus de certification Ceinture verte Lean Six Sigma.

Janie Charest Guérin

Ergothérapeute

Janie s’est jointe à l’équipe d’Ergokinox en 2023. Elle détient un baccalauréat en ergothérapie de l’Université Laval et complète actuellement des études de 2e cycle en ergonomie à l’École Polytechnique de Montréal. Elle cumule 15 ans d’expérience, notamment en réadaptation socioprofessionnelle. Elle a aussi développé une expertise auprès des travailleurs dans les services d’urgence, les cliniques dentaires, l’hôtellerie ainsi que les milieux adaptés pour les enfants. 

Maude Blouin-Brochu

Ergonome EA

Maude s’est jointe à l’équipe d’Ergokinox en 2022. Elle détient un baccalauréat en kinésiologie de l’Université Laval et une maîtrise en ergonomie de l’UQAM. Pendant ses études, elle a réalisé plusieurs mandats reliés à l’ergonomie de bureau et a mené des projets de transformations dans une usine du secteur agroalimentaire. Maude détient le titre d’ergonome EA du CCCPE.

Hamza Azzouzi

Ergonome EA

Hamza s’est joint à l’équipe d’Ergokinox en 2022. Il détient un baccalauréat en kinésiologie et a complété des études de 2e cycle en ergonomie à l’UQAM. Hamza se distingue par ses aptitudes de formateur et sa capacité à vulgariser les enjeux ergonomiques. Par ailleurs, il possède une expertise dans les domaines plus spécifiques de l’aéronautique et de l’agro-alimentaire. Hamza détient le titre d’ergonome EA du CCCPE.

Camille Desmarais

Ergonome EA

Camille s’est jointe à l’équipe d’Ergokinox en 2024. Elle détient un baccalauréat en kinésiologie et d’une maîtrise en ergonomie et innovation de l’Université Laval. Depuis 2019, elle a réalisé plusieurs mandats en ergonomie de bureau et mené des projets de transformation sur le plan cognitif dans un atelier mécanique. Elle possède également une expérience en tant que conseillère en santé et sécurité au travail.

Sandra Côté

Technicienne à la rédaction

Sandra s’est jointe à l’équipe d’Ergokinox en 2024. Elle détient un baccalauréat en philosophie de l’Université Laval. En plus de soutenir l’équipe en ce qui concerne l’écriture et la correction de textes, elle travaille en étroite collaboration avec Valérie (Beauchesne) afin d’aider à la coordination des opérations.

Nicolas started Ergokinox in 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Université Laval and a DESS in ergonomics from École Polytechnique de Montréal. In addition to his consulting activities, Nicolas has been a lecturer at Université de Montréal and a clinical session leader at Université Laval.

Valérie Beauchesne

Administrative Coordinator

With over 20 years’ experience in industrial medicine and event management, Valérie has been the administrative coordinator of the Ergokinox team since 2019. Always smiling and available, she responds to customers with professionalism, coordinates operations and manages the ergonomic team’s schedules with efficiency.

Jean-François Sylvain

CCPE-certified ergonomist

Jean-François joined Ergokinox in 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a DESS in ergonomics from Université Laval. Jean-François holds the title of CCPE certified ergonomist from the CCCPE and is a Lean Six Sigma yellow belt. Among other things, he has extensive experience in transportation-related mandates.

Valérie Tremblay

EA ergonomist

Valérie joined the Ergokinox team in 2019. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sports studies from University Bishop’s , a master’s degree in ergonomics from UQAM and a certificate in occupational health and safety from UQAT. Valérie holds the title of Associate Ergonomist EA from the CCCPE and is currently in the process of obtaining Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Janie Charest Guérin

Janie joined the Ergokinox team in 2023. She holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Université Laval and is currently completing graduate studies in ergonomics at École Polytechnique de Montréal. She has 15 years’ experience, notably in socio-professional rehabilitation. She has also developed expertise with workers in emergency services, dental clinics, the hotel industry and adapted environments for children.

Maude Blouin-Brochu

EA ergonomist

Maude joined the Ergokinox team in 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Université Laval and a master’s degree in ergonomics from UQAM. During her studies, she carried out several office ergonomics mandates and led transformation projects in an agri-food sector. Maude holds the EA title from the CCCPE.

Hamza Azzouzi

EA ergonomist

Hamza joined the Ergokinox team in 2022. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and completed graduate studies in ergonomics at UQAM. Hamza stands out for his training skills and his ability to popularize ergonomic issues. In addition, he has expertise in aerospace and agri-food industries. Hamza holds the EA title from the CCCPE.

Camille Desmarais

EA ergonomist

Camille joined the Ergokinox team in 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a master’s degree in ergonomics and innovation from Université Laval. Since 2019, she has completed several mandates in office ergonomics and led cognitive transformation projects in a mechanical workshop. She also has experience as an occupational health and safety consultant.

Sandra Côté

Editorial Technician

Sandra joined the team Ergokinox in 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Université Laval. In addition to supporting the team with writing and proofreading, she works closely with Valérie (Beauchesne) to help coordinate the operations.
