What is a certified ergonomist?

A certified ergonomist holds the Canadian Ergonomics Practitioner Certification (CEPC), issued by the Certification Committee of the Canadian Council of Ergonomics Practitioners (CCCPE). This certification guarantees recognized skills in the entire field of ergonomics.
At Ergokinox, our ergonomists are EA (associate ergonomist) or CCPE certified, ensuring a service recognized by the highest quality standards in the consulting industry.

Nicolas Paradis

CCPE-certified ergonomist

Nicolas started Ergokinox in 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Université Laval and a DESS in ergonomics from École Polytechnique de Montréal. In addition to his consulting activities, Nicolas has been a lecturer at Université de Montréal and a clinical session leader at Université Laval.

Valérie Beauchesne

Administrative Coordinator

With over 20 years’ experience in industrial medicine and event management, Valérie has been the administrative coordinator of the Ergokinox team since 2019. Always smiling and available, she responds to customers with professionalism, coordinates operations and manages the ergonomic team’s schedules with efficiency.

Jean-François Sylvain

CCPE-certified ergonomist

Jean-François joined Ergokinox in 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a DESS in ergonomics from Université Laval. Jean-François holds the title of CCPE certified ergonomist from the CCCPE and is a Lean Six Sigma yellow belt. Among other things, he has extensive experience in transportation-related mandates.

Valérie Tremblay

EA ergonomist

Valérie joined the Ergokinox team in 2019. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sports studies from University Bishop’s , a master’s degree in ergonomics from UQAM and a certificate in occupational health and safety from UQAT. Valérie holds the title of Associate Ergonomist EA from the CCCPE and is currently in the process of obtaining Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Janie Charest Guérin

Occupational therapist

Janie joined the Ergokinox team in 2023. She holds a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Université Laval and is currently completing graduate studies in ergonomics at École Polytechnique de Montréal. She has 15 years’ experience, notably in socio-professional rehabilitation. She has also developed expertise with workers in emergency services, dental clinics, the hotel industry and adapted environments for children.

Maude Blouin-Brochu

EA ergonomist

Maude joined the Ergokinox team in 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Université Laval and a master’s degree in ergonomics from UQAM. During her studies, she carried out several office ergonomics mandates and led transformation projects in an agri-food sector. Maude holds the EA title from the CCCPE.

Hamza Azzouzi

Hamza joined the Ergokinox team in 2022. He holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and completed graduate studies in ergonomics at UQAM. Hamza stands out for his training skills and his ability to popularize ergonomic issues. In addition, he has expertise in aerospace and agri-food industries. Hamza holds the EA title from the CCCPE.

Camille Desmarais

Camille joined the Ergokinox team in 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a master’s degree in ergonomics and innovation from Université Laval. Since 2019, she has completed several mandates in office ergonomics and led cognitive transformation projects in a mechanical workshop. She also has experience as an occupational health and safety consultant.

Sandra joined the team Ergokinox in 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Université Laval. In addition to supporting the team with writing and proofreading, she works closely with Valérie (Beauchesne) to help coordinate the operations.
