Vehicle Ergonomics
Ergonomic Assessment of Driving and Operator Workstations and Vibration Measurement
Ergokinox offers specialized vehicle ergonomics services aimed at assessing the physical demands and
ergonomic constraints associated with driving and operating vehicles in the workplace.
Whether involving cars, vans, heavy trucks, buses, emergency vehicles, forklifts, material handling equipment or heavy machinery, our ergonomists assess actual operating conditions to identify risk factors and opportunities for improvement.
Our services can combine an ergonomic assessment of the driving or operator workstation and the tasks performed with the vehicle with whole-body vibration measurements, allowing us to recommend solutions tailored to the vehicle, the worker and the actual work environment.

Whole-Body Vibration Measurement and Analysis
The use of vehicles and mobile machinery can expose workers to whole-body vibration, particularly through the seat and floor.
Ergokinox uses specialized equipment to objectively measure and analyze vibration exposure under actual operating conditions and in accordance with recognized standards and methods applicable to whole-body vibration.
Measurements can be performed on various types of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, buses, road vehicles, forklifts, construction equipment and other mobile machinery.
Our analysis makes it possible to quantify vibration exposure and compare the results with recognized standards and reference values. It can also be used to compare different operating conditions, identify the main factors contributing to exposure, and guide corrective measures or equipment selection.
Driving Workstation Adjustment Training
A driving workstation with multiple adjustment options can only be fully effective if workers know how to use them properly based on their body dimensions and the tasks they perform.
Ergokinox offers hands-on training that enables workers to understand and apply the principles of optimal ergonomic adjustment of their driving workstation, including seat position and adjustment, lumbar support, steering wheel, controls, mirrors and other relevant equipment.
Training can be conducted directly on the vehicles or equipment used by workers, allowing them to immediately put the concepts into practice.
If needed, Ergokinox can also develop a customized, illustrated quick-reference guide outlining the key adjustments to make before driving or operating the equipment.
